On August 27, 2010 the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus approved the Decision No 1250 giving Revera Consulting Group the status of the first investment agent of Brest region and privileges to be of interest of Belarus on attraction of investments in the economy of the Republic. May 20, 2010 Together with Consulate General of Belarus in Tallinn and Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry a seminar in Tallin "Target market - Belarus" was held on May 13, 2010. Heads of several ministries, departments, branch companies, business associations, leading enterprises of the Republic of Belarus took part in the Forum. November 14, 2008 Senior Partner of Revera Consulting Group Dmitry Arkhipenko made a presentation at the 3rd International Conference «Direct and venture investment in Russia and CIS-2008». The conference took place in «Swissotel Red Hills», Moscow on November 11-12. During the two days of the conference owners and managers of investment companies and venture funds discussed problems that their companies confronted while looking for and and selecting of objects for investment. The conference considered the evolution of direct and venture investment in Russia and countries of the CIS. Practically in every paper there was assessment and forecast of financial crisis behavior in the Russian market, and opinion of speakers were shared on how to manage crisis. In the view of Dmitry Arkhipenko, «the conference is interesting and helpful, especially for understanding views on investment expressed by market professionals regarding current world events and what changes occur in the policy and strategy of investment». In the framework of the report Dmitry Arkhipenko covered topics of interest to foreign investors: privatization in the republic: plans and prospects, real estate market, as well as peculiarities of the tax regimes proposed by Belarusian legislation.
